Pump Inlets

Single piece pump inlets can be made in three sizes, the back wall widths being 1000, 1600 or 2200 wide. The side walls can be returned level (measurement E), to support either the pump or the inlet pipe. Back wall heights vary from 1200 to 3000 and the front sill can be cast at any height. Multiple entries are cast to design.

Larger pump inlets can be cast in panel form, as the photos show. Inlets can be cast up to 4800 high with a 4700 wide mouth and 4500 from bunge wall to sill wall. As this is a very large structure it is constructed using six panels which require bolting together on site and pouring a cast-in-situ floor.
