Pits
Pits can be made for either distribution of water or to make a central drainage point.
Multiple entries can be made and if a deep pit is required. Heights of up to 3.0m are available in a single piece.
Heights of up to 4.8m are available in a two piece unit.
Overflow Escapes
Overflow escapes are designed to be installed on the end of a supply channel to ensure the channel is not blown out if a surge of water flows to the end of the channel. They can also serve to drain the channel on completion of irrigation.
Overflow escapes can also be used at locations where there is a significant drop in the channel bed height or where a vehicle crossing is required. They are available in heights from 900 to 3000mm and will cater for pipes up to 1800mm diameter.
These are also useful structures on lateral shift supply channels.
