Drop Boxes
Drop boxes are made in four sizes offering lip lengths of 1.8m, 2.4m, 3.0m and 4.5m, each size suitable for either a field drainage area or discharge pipe diameter. Dropbox height is then custom made depending on pipe diameter and the designed drop required between lip and invert.
Invert above floor height is adjusted depending on whether door/gate control is required. All pipe hole diameters are custom made to suit the type of pipe used eg concrete, steel, poly, etc. All dropboxes come complete with a floor to avoid an on-site pour. Four lifting lugs are supplied with each order. Multiple entry dropboxes are available and the floor can be voided so as to be able to lower the dropbox over a pipe and gate valve - saves removing gate to install the dropbox.
Discharge Bubblers
Discharge bubblers are designed to prevent scouring at the discharge end of a pipe. They are installed down or into the bed of a channel allowing the water flow to hit the back wall and bubble up, therefore losing velocity. They are designed for where the tail water return is running at a 90 degree angle to the discharge pipe.
Many sizes are available and depend on pipe diameter and flow capacity.
