Channel Checks

Channel checks, or weirs, are available in 32 sizes, depending on channel size and flow. They cater for flows from 20ML to 300ML/day and can have concrete sills poured in them if a "drop" is required (ie change of bed height).

All checks are complete with steel walkway, steel or timber dropboards and a dropboard removal hook for our clients convenience. They can also be fitted with an Aluminium Screwlift Door or a Rubber Overshot Door. Both of which are 100% water tight.

Front and rear wingwalls ensure maximum backfill retention to lower maintenance costs.
